We have submitted an outline planning application for up to 500 new homes, small-scale neighbourhood uses, open spaces, land that could be used for a primary school, and associated infrastructure on land west of Rayleigh.

The outline planning application that we submitted in August 2014 was refused by Rochford District Council’s planning committee in January 2015. In March 2015, we lodged an appeal with the Planning Inspectorate against this refusal; and in June 2015 we submitted a new outline planning application to Rochford District Council to address the reasons for refusal.
